Students are warmly invited to attend our in-person classroom workshops twice a week with our certified teachers. During these sessions, they can complete assignments from the weekly lesson plans and collaborate with their peers. This offers a wonderful chance for students to interact with others in their grade level while enjoying personalized classroom instruction. Plus, don't forget our FAB FRIDAYS! Every Friday, all students are welcome to join us for exciting socialization, enrichment, guest instructors, and more.
Our program offers an enriching curriculum and weekly lesson plans in language arts, writing, math, social studies, and science. Students benefit from Chromebooks, allowing access to our curriculum and educational apps through Clever and Google Classroom.
Opportunities to engaging in-person workshops. These workshops, held Monday through Friday, are led by certified staff and focus on teaching phonemic awareness, phonics, close reading, process writing, and math with models and manipulatives to enhance conceptual understanding. Additionally, experience hands-on science activities each week.
We provide valuable parent training sessions both in-person and via Zoom for grades TK-8th parents and guardians. The 2024-2025 topics include phonics, AVID strategies, process writing, English learner strategies, the Three Reads math routine, CAASPP data analysis, and more, tailored to parent needs and requests.
Technology integration is a key feature of our lessons, utilizing tools such as Google Slides, Google Docs, Canva, Adobe Express, Screencastify, Nearpod, Quizizz, Kahoot, Blooket, Kami, and more.
Our Fabulous Fridays offer a wealth of experiences in the fine arts, Reader’s Theatre, hands-on science activities, multi-age enrichment opportunities in classes or our STEAM lab, guest instructors both in-person and via Zoom, extended recess, and time in our school garden.
Enrichment activities abound, including drill and tall flags team, robotics, media and graphic design, band, orchestra, student leadership, book clubs, performing arts, and more, all driven by student interests.
We also organize quarterly family field trips within and outside the county, providing wonderful opportunities for shared learning and fun. Annual family events include Living History Museum, Family Paint Night, STEM Night, and Lunch on the Lawn.
Every 30 school days, each teachers meet with parents to collaborate, discuss submitted student work, offer support and resources, and address upcoming events and any concerns, ensuring a supportive and communicative educational environment.
